Does anybody in the Class of 2009 know the exact percentage of the early decision acceptance rate for your class? I would really like to know that. The exact number would be even more helpul. Like 970 applied, 480 got in, something like that. Also, it is really good that Vanderbilt is at least trying to improve its diversity. It looks absolutely terrible on a school when it is ranked second worst in the nation for diversity, especially when Vandy is trying so hard to move up in rankings. However, this isn't really Vandy's fault. They are ranked second for having little race/class interaction, but that is because of the people at Vandy. I could care absolutely nothing whatsoever about the diversity at Vanderbilt. I am Asian, but since I've always grown up never having been around any Asian people, being around them almost makes me feel uncomfortable, because I feel like they think I'm weird for not being even remotely connected to my culture. Anyways, if you're really Asian or really African American, and you enjoy hanging out with that type of crowd, i would suggest going to a city like Boston or Philadelphia, because you will just tend to latch on to every other Asian/African American person you see at Vanderbilt, and you would be cynical towards everyone who doesn't want to mix with you. However, i'm not saying this is true for all Asians. But if you enjoy mingling with people of your background, then you would have more fun in a city.

Thanks, 2Vu, does anybody have the exact early decision numbers?

Contact the Office of Admissions. I'm sure they have the exact numbers for the class of 2009.

There’s nothing special about Abercrombie clothes. All they do is charge a lot more for them. Don’t buy close from them, they don’t deserve business.

i think since vanderbilt has 7000+ undergrads its kind of pointless to try to match a stereotype to the students there. personally i dont care if certain people are snobby. their views and ignorance shouldnt affect me, nor do they have anything to do with me. in fact, that kind of person should realize that it is very nouveau riche to show off ones belongings/strut around in obvious designer labels (i.e. those stupid juicy couture sweatshirts with sparkly writing on them). idk. thats just my opinion. i dont mean to digress from the original question…

wow, nice spam-ressurection
