vassar vs cornell

i'm trying to decide btwn vassar and cornell. comments?

Hello! I had to make this choice actually. I would think that it’s super easy to decide, especially if you can visit the campuses. The number of undergraduates is hugely different between the two schools, and that influences a ton of things. Personally, I decided that I wanted the personal attention that going to a liberal arts college would get me. Also, open curriculum vs. distribution requirements was also a factor for me.

It seems like this choice should be pretty easy since they offer completely different environments. Both are great schools, but the “best school” completely depends on what you would prefer.

Vassar has smaller class sizes, a more intimate intellectual community, smaller student body, artsy environment, and more of an undergraduate focus.
Cornell has a broader course selection, greater number of on-campus activities, more diversity, larger student body, and more resources.

I agree with EliteUHopeful: a campus visit should make the choice much easier.
