My son toured several colleges this summer and his favorites were Vassar and Tufts. He wants to apply ED to one of them and plans on being premed. He knows that premed will be tough anywhere. However, which school has happier premed students? Which school will be least stressful? Thank you!
We liked both schools also but s1 and s2 both storngly preferred Vassar. Vassar has a very collaborative environment which they both thrived in. They double majored in a science and the arts so it was perfect for them. They did not do the pre med route. About ten years ago, I knew somone who was premed at Tufts and was considering transferring to Penn but did not end up doing it because she loved Tufts. So both are good choices. Visit again in the fall and attend a class or an event on campus. He will know which one he prefers.
