Vault Guides?

Can any one give me a better insight on which vault guide would best prepare me for ibanking interviews as i have already done enough research on the different areas within ibanking. Should I get the guide to Finance interviews or the guide to Ibanking?

If you haven't read a vault guide on investment banking, you're a long way from landing a summer internship. No offense.

What you should read first is, "Ibanking resumes"
And see if you fit in with the rest.

The majority of students that get summer internships at BB firms usually have completed internships at local boutique firms. IE they can already put together a pitchbook.

If its trading that you want to do; then you need high math scores and a proven resume that says "i'm as quantitative as they get"

thanks but i was actually asking more about the types of questions asked on an interview for a ibanking job I'm actually doing an internship right now at a boutique.

Only had two BB banking interviews. One consisted mostly of simple questions, "how would you begin to value a company?", "Walk me through DCF?", "If xyz decreases on the income statement, how does it affect retained earnings?", The old tennis balls in the room question(tests your quantitative abilities), manhole question. Pretty much the typical vault guide "type" questions.

Another interview consisted of 30 minutes of brain teasers. Which I made to the second round(fit) but not to the superday.

Thanks JPN, appreciate your insights!
