I know that typically one does ibanking or mgmt consulting before going into a buy-side job, but do VC firms typically recruit Stanford undergrads?

bump any advice. I’m hoping to eventually get into Venture Capital or Private Equity long-term.

Stanford definitely has connections to VC firms in Silicon Valley, and they do sometimes recruit undergrads. Many would probably like to see some work experience before hiring, however it’s totally possible. VC firms, however, aren’t the type to be at career fairs; you’ll have to find connections to them through student organizations, for example BASES is in touch with a lot of VC firms.
