For those people who scored high on the verbal section of the SAT, what is a good list of vocab words to study? What is the best way to study them?
Also, what is the best way to improve on the CR?

Barron's 3500. Do a list every night, periodically reviewing.

Reading.

For both: reading, reading, and reading.

whoa... barrons 3500...
There used to be a BIG discussion about that one... in the more prolific older version of this forum

Yea - Reading is prolly the best way to work on vocab. The word list is kinda pretty helpful too if you're short on time. CR requires quick and precise understanding of the passage in relation with the Qs. I have a hard time with the CRs too - have to cheat on time to get a decent score.
