OK guys. I'm a junior who just took the SAT on Oct. 4th. I got a 2120--certainly not bad for my first time, but obviously not as high as I think I can go. Anyway, when I was registering for the SAT, I chose to send my scores to 4 different colleges (3 Ivy Leagues, one state school). I'm not here to hear why I should or shouldn't have sent the scores, but I guess it's already done. Here's what I'm wondering: is a 2120 too low to get into Harvard, Yale, etc.? Keep in mind that a) I plan to take the SAT again (and hopefully break 2200) and b) I'm just a junior now, so it's not like I'm applying to schools now. WILL THE SENT SCORES HELP ME, HURT ME, OR HAVE NO EFFECT?

To get into Harvard, you need at least a 2200+ without any hooks (athlete
Also, there are other things that determine if you get in like GPA, rank, essays, recs, ecs. o_o

no effect hopefully if you re-send your scores after you re-take the test and make an improvement=)

Remember that SAT IIs are as important as the SAT I for admission to Harvard. To answer your question, though, sending the scores as a HS Junior will have no effect.

I got the same score!!

And no. Don’t worry about it. Just send your scores to the 3 Ivies the next time you take it.
