<p>here's my crazy situation...right now i go to a Community College in the Bay Area for the past 3 semesters. ive actually been doing well and have around a 3.5 GPA mostly finishing up my lower division GE requirements. but previously attended a CSU school for 4 years..i did okay there but have some family issues and partying issues lol. i did well the first 2 yrs, but got ca ught up with things and got on academic probation. mainly due to a semester i had health issues and did not complete my classes. i didnt withdraw and got F's...so that messed up my gpa...anyways, my last semester there it got down to 1.85...after that i decided to go to another CC near by...so for the past couple years ive attended a couple community colleges and completed 30+ units with around a 3.5 GPA and got my overall college GPA back up to around 2.5. problem is ive been only taking 2-3 classes every semester to concentrate on less classes and do better , which has worked...buti dont know how long i'll be in school for till i graduate. Right now, i have junior status w/ over 80 units completed and should be done with all my lower GE requirements by end of this semester...now just need to start on my major and GE upper division (i'm hoping to finish in 2 years, is that possible?) So now I applied to 7 or 8 CSU's for next spring 2006 and fall 2006....ive been nervous and not really expected to get in any schools, due to my bad GPA when i attended another CSU previously...well for spring 2006, i got accepted at Sonoma State. Got letters from Sacramento and San Bernardino...neither rejected me, but they need my grades after this fall semester to see if i passed my english requirement (which i expect to pass with an A so far)...so i dont know if they'll accept me or not after they get my final grades for this fall 2005 semester. And I applied to CSU Long Beach, Fullerton, and Northridge for next Fall 2006. So what do u guys think i should do? Should i get my and hopes up that i'll get accepted to those other schools, since i really want to go down south...or should i just settle for Sonoma State since that might be the only school that accepts me..any realistic chance for the other schools i listed? again, i got my overall college gpa up to around 2.5 and my gpa in CC has been around 3.5 the past couple yrs...but i'm relly worried they'll reject me me due to my 1.85 gpa i had before..thanks for any help and advice</p>
<p>Can you provisionally accept Sonoma State and see what else comes in, then withdraw from Sonoma if you have a better offer?</p>
<p>Sonoma State is a good school and Sonoma is a beautiful community...</p>
<p>BTW congrats for getting your academics pulled together and for sticking with college despite some setbacks-- well done!</p>
