ok maybe not as important as other stuff on here.
but i wanted to survey you guys.
what is you guys perception/opinion of Wake Forest as a university. not necessarily your view of the business programs. but just as a school what's your perception of it.
thinki of applyin for undergrad. want to know how it's seen by others.

with your answer, if you guys could tell me what regoin of the country that'd really help.

They have a basketball team right?

Seriously, I think it's a great school if you are going to pursue a letters and arts degree, I wouldn't rank it high for the sciences. One thing that I think is neat, however, is it's location. Not only is Winston-Salem suppose to be an awesome town, but it is near Research Triangle and the booming tech industry of Raliegh. I think your opportunities to apply your education while you obtain it, in that area, will be awesome. Not to mention the support local business give to local schools should open up some network channels.

If I had to define Wake Forest in one word it would be "Quality"

I grew up in California and now live in Ohio.

You may get more answers in the college forum. This is about MBA.

i know it's MBA. i just put the question on this board too because most kid's applying to undergrad live and die by the us news charts and i'd rather get the opinion of people a little bit removed from that.
i'm trying to get a feel for the reputation of the university

Personally, I don't think undergrad university choice is all that important. If it's a big university or a name that people recognize, there will probably be recruiters there.
