Very Interesting Video - "Shift Happens"

<a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=ljbI-363A2Q%5B/url%5D">http://youtube.com/watch?v=ljbI-363A2Q</a></p>

It's kind of scary to think how in our near future, computers will be smarter than the ENTIRE HUMAN RACE. I'm not expecting some sort of Terminator stuff but technology is infact advancing at an insane rate.

And what's most shocking is that half of what we learn in college will be outdated two years later. If this is the reality today, I dunno how our future generation will keep up with the information 50 years, or even 20 years from now. I know this is a bit extreme, but it'll be very very scary if something you learned today will become outdated in a matter of monthes, or even weeks.

And something like that may be possible during our lifetime. You know, I know this sounds a bit exotic, but I won't be too surprised if there was a chip invented that people can "install" into their brain (just like computer) to obtain new knowledge within a matter of seconds. lol think about it. Today's education system will totally collapse.

Whoa- creepy and thought provoking. Thanks for sharing!

We watched this in math class the other day.
We pretty much all came to the conclusion that the people who made the video were exaggerating their butts off most of the time.
But some of the video is pretty scary...

I'm not scared, I'm excited. When they pointlessly said that England had the largest army in 1900, I paused, researched, was about to post here how that whole video was propagandist balogney..then after unpausing, saw the 1900:D Anyone found any contradicting facts?

It is propagandist bologna. It may be scary, but that doesn't make it true.

How can humans create computers that surpass the entire human race? That would be like a 2-year old getting a perfect SAT score; it's just not possible.
