Very Sad News

Lindsay Brown, a 19 year-old Air Force Academy cadet from Rockledge, Florida was killed in an automobile accident Friday night while on leave for the holidays. Lindsay was assigned to Squadron 26 and was a member of the Academy’s Women’s Swim Team.

Service arrangements are pending.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and the members of Sqdn 26.

Wow...I'm in shock. I didn't know her, but I definitely know her face, and I know she was in more than one of my classes. It definitely makes you think...

My condolences go to her family and friends as well. Squadron 26 is sure to have a tough time with this.

I think 26 was her freshman squad, she is now in 5 I believe. Tragic news and the first cadet death in years.

How very sad! Our prayers go out for her family, friends, and squad members.

Cadet Brown was a member of CS-05. She and Potter's coach were doolie roommates in CS-26 last year. She will be missed greatly. It is so sad when someone passes so young, and with so much promise. I am sure the Academy will remember her passing appropriately when the Cadets return.
