Veterans affairs

These questions is for any veterans at Berkeley who collect GI Bill benefits. How would you rate Berkeley's VA office? Does everything work pretty smoothly over there? Is it easy to collect benefits during break periods in between semesters (i.e. Christmas time)? Or do you have to specifically ask for it? Thanks for your help.

GI benefits are administered electronically to your bank account unless you want a paper check that is sent to your address.

I'm not certain of this, but I don't think a paper check is optional anymore. The VA office isn't all that great... it's only one person. The one thing I would say about him is that he doesn't seem to be into the whole "oversight" that my previous VA guy was. Meaning, he doesn't need to verify that you're on track to graduate. He works in Registration and his name is Michael.

On another note, I'll mention that I decided to cancel my GI Bill while at Cal. It turns out I actually loose scholarships and grants equal to the amount of money I'm receiving from the GI Bill. This isn't always the case, but it is in mine. You might want to look into it.

Hi, are you guys still attending berkeley? What are your majors ?
