This is not related to academics or admission at all. . . sorry about that. I saw that Harvard is a part of the PINK collection at Victoria's Secret (college hoodies, shirts, etc). I've looked everywhere for a hoodie, but I can't find it at any of the stores by my house (mind you, I live in the suburbs of MO :-P) or online. I'm visiting next week, and I was wondering if someone could tell me if any Victoria's Secret in Cambridge have it. . . Sorry if this is a weird question! Thanks in advance!

Im not sure whether there is. Cant you just order it online?? I find it hilarious btw how MIT are winning the online competition for the new range :/

I couldn’t find Harvard or MIT on the VS Pink web site; do any of you have a link?

If I recall correctly, Harvard was in the original group of VS Pink’s Collegiate Collection in June 2008. It’s not sold on the VS website, but I’ve heard that it’s available at the VS in the CambridgeSide Galleria (I’ve yet to check it out and verify this). I know this specifically because I was away for that entire month when the hoodie came out and, for a period, I was obsessed with finding one.

If you search through Kaboodle for “harvard sweatshirt victorias secret,” you’ll find it. It’s cute.

I was under the impression that the Harvard stuff was no longer offered – I bought my shirt last fall in Natick, and one of the undergrads in my lab almost attacked me for it, because she said Harvard didn’t want VS selling them anymore.

Thanks for the help, guys! Hopefully I’ll find it when I visit.

I actually called the Burlington, Cambridge Galleria and Natick branches of VS about a month ago to find out about the Harvard Pink items. VS stopped selling them. If I recall what I was told correctly, it was as far back as last October.

:( aw, dangit. Well, thanks for the info, smoda61!

If you find out differently in your travels please let me know. Now I just went to the VS site and “starting June 22” they are accepting nominations for what schools should be in the line. I guess we could all try to get Harvard added back to the list.

Will do. I’m headed up to Boston tomorrow night, so I’ll let you know what I find out ASAP. Do you think it’s true that Harvard didn’t want to be part of the VS collection?

Just went on the VS website, and Harvard isn’t listed as a member of the Collegiate Collection. Here’s the link (remove all of the spaces):

Kiterunner18-Thanks on the checking and I would not be surprised if Harvard felt that a Harvard VS thong represented them they way they wanted. If I recall there are some Crimson articles on this topic, but I have not read them recently.

I think it was mostly t-shirts and sweatshirts, not underwear. And my VS Harvard t-shirt is more comfortable than anything they sell at the Coop!

Way back, this is the article that I read and where I had gotten the idea that it was not just t’s and sweats: [The Harvard Crimson :: Magazine :: Hate it: Victoria’s Secret Thongs](http://www.thecrimson.com/article.aspx?ref=524968)

Went to the VS site and you are right and the article misled me. Interesting note though, they have reformatted the site in the past couple days and on top of it there are now NO Massachusetts schools. I know that I saw BC on the list on Sunday when I first responded to this thread. Now, I do not see it.
