I am a high school senior applying for admission this year, and I just received an email from Conn that went like this:

Thank you so much for your interest in Connecticut College. Unfortunately due to an immense volume of interview requests and limited alumni interviewers overseas, we are often unable to accommodate interview requests from applicants living abroad. However, we did want to give those applicants who are interested in sharing a bit more about themselves the opportunity. You may attach a brief 3-5 minute video via email or share a link from a third party site that hosts your short video. Please answer the following questions:

What would you want the admission committee to know about you that they wouldn't learn from reviewing your application?

What aspects of life at Connecticut College are you most looking forward to and why?

What do you think would be the main contribution you would bring to the Connecticut College community?

Should I do this? Will it count against me if I don't?
