@longisland234 @mkogel did it have this in the body?

I don’t know what to make of it can the other EA applicants confirm to see if you all got this or not / if you think it means anything?

@steve829 yes! thats the exact email I got! It seemed a little weird that they would have sent that if someone wasn’t accepted but I dont know if I’m making something out of nothing

@longisland234 I hope, it doesn’t make sense to invite people who haven’t gotten in to an event regarding helping those afford the college. In my mind, I would think that if you got that email that you were in, because regular decision does not hear back until past that date which would mean they are trying to target those who are already accepted by trying to get them to go there. But I can only hope lol.

This email is being sent to everyone who has submitted an application for admission to Villanova University for the 2015-2016 academic year.

The purpose of this communication is to inform you of our financial aid process. If you are interested in applying for any of the need-based programs of financial assistance you will need to take the following steps:

Then it had a chart here

Should a student be offered admission to Villanova University and complete the financial aid application process by the dates listed above, they will be able to view their financial aid award on MyNova by April 1, 2015 and will subsequently receive a financial aid notification in the mail.

Thank you for your interest in Villanova University! If you have any questions about our need-based aid process do not hesitate to contact our office at finaid@villanova.edu or by phone at (610) 519-4010.

Did the people who got both emails apply for financial aid or indicate on their app that they would be seeking need-based financial aid? Just curious.

My daughter got neither email. She did NOT indicate that she would be applying for financial aid on her app so probably wouldn’t get the financial aid email, but maybe should have received the other admissions one. Probably not a good sign for her. Good luck to everyone!

I didn’t get the admissions workshop email but I did get the financial aid email…this is making me so nervous. Who else got the admissions email?

My son just checked his email and received both, the financial aid workshop invite and also the instruction email on applying for financial aid. We did not check the box for needing financial assistance. Neither gives any indication of possible acceptance
