Villanova vs Bucknell vs Univ of Delaware

<p>I am awaiting financial offers from all 3 schools and trying to decide. I am leaning toward Villanova but not too excited about the possibility of being tripled as a freshman. I am entering as a Chem Engineering major and don't know which to choose. Have visited all at least once. I think Bucknell has the nicer dorms but is a pretty small school and I am not interested in Greek life. Any advice?</p>

<p>I can’t really speak to all three schools but I’m curious to find out what you hear. Those three are all on my S2’s short list. We haven’t visited UD yet but he really liked both Villanova and Bucknell. He’ll be a business major, though. My husband went to Bucknell for Electrical Engineering but he transferred out of BU - he just wasn’t happy with the professors. Don’t let that impact your decision, though, because this was a long time ago. My brother graduated as a ChemE from Bucknell and my niece graduated with a Spanish degree from BU in '10. Both of them LOVED BU and wouldn’t have chosen any other school. Greek life at BU is big but I wouldn’t let that overly influence your decision as you might be more interested once you’re there. Good luck with your decision. You can’t go wrong with any of them.</p>

<p>Freshman housing is assigned in order of deposits ; earliest deposits are assigned Stanford Hall (no triples).
If /when you decide on Villanova, deposit ASAP .
Freshman that deposited by mid April 2011 were not tripled for last years class. </p>

<p>Thanks for the info Brave Ulysses. I plan to send my deposit as soon as I get the financial info in a couple of weeks. I hope that is early enough to avoid being tripled :)</p>
