Villanova Vs Drexel for BS

My son has got into BS-MD program thru both schools for Undergrad and is not sure which one to pick for Undergrad. Drexel is more expensive than Villanova. Has anyone been in this situation? We will be happy to hear from students/ parents of both schools.

Don’t both schools go through Hahnemann for the MD? If that’s the case, I would say it depends on other factors. First of all, personal preference - suburban Villanova versus urban Drexel, and student demographics along those lines. Villanova has an advantage on cost. However, Drexel may have the advantage in the job market if the MD thing doesn’t work out.

Both schools are very well respected. Congratulations and Good luck with your choice!

Usually Drexel has co ops. Is this the case with the bs/ md program? Are the co ops guaranteed in a medical setting?

Is one program longer in time than the other?

Do they both have the same amount of hoops to jump through? Any part of this auto admit or is he required to take the same tests to move through each program?

Drexel is on the quarter system? Is this a positive or negative for him?

What kind of summer internships does VU offer?

Sorry, more questions than answers. I bet this has been discussed somewhere in the bs/md threads.
