I am thinking of applying to villanova, but i am not sure if i will fit in. I am a girl, pakistani and muslim. I am not that religious and am not looking for a school filled with others like me. But i am pretty down to earth. Do you think i would fit in at villanova?

Ehhh its of course possible, but not definite. When I visited Villanova I found that the Catholic aspect a lot more out in the open and prominent than I did at BC and HC. The students and administration there were very kind and welcoming though, so as long as you don’t mind the more prominent Catholic-ness of it then I think you’d fit in fine.

I think the best advice is to visit. Villanova is not known to be a particularly “diverse” student body- but I guess it depends more how you feel about that. Not being either Catholic or Muslim, I would have to ask what would draw a Muslim to go to college at a Catholic college or university.

I think if I were you I’d look at schools that have more diversity, but that’s just my opinion. If there is something specific about Villanova that attracts you, I wouldn’t let it’s being Catholic stop you.

Thanks for your help! Its not neccessarily that i want to go to a catholic college or university its just that i heard it was a good school, but some of the things i have read talk a lot about the school being populated by mostly white rich and catholic kids. Thanks so much for your help!
