VIP Acceptances

I’m still not clear what a VIP candidate is. I visited the school, received an email saying I could apply EA for free, but no where on the invitation or on my UVM admission web page does it say anything about VIP.

Just checked the admission page for the first time over the weekend and my D was accepted (VIP candidate…maybe they are working over the weekend to get VIP responses in before 12/15?). She is going to be very happy!

Still haven’t heard anything! Two of my friends who applied EA just got in though…

We saw the acceptance on the website and it was followed by a letter of acceptance. Later she received another letter inviting her to the honors college. She submitted her app on Nov 14th.
She is OOS, and received an email offering her VIP status. UVM is very popular at her HS. Applying to UVM was kind of an afterthought, but we are both excited about the possibilites.
She is waiting to hear from Binghamton (1/15) and WPI (12/20).

I applied on October 31, and just got accepted OOS.

I applied November 30th as a VIP applicant, got accepted tonight (:D)

Hotsauce, are you VIP or EA?

I just got accepted, VIP :)!!!

nerbsmom, I believe I was both. I applied EA, but their site listed me as a VIP candidate

just got accepted EA! not vip :P

they received my app on saturday and i was just accepted! when do we hear about scholarships and whether or not we were accepted into the honors college?

Congrats! My D received the Honors info about a week after she was accepted. I think scholarships come out after the first of the year.

I am a VIP and I got my acceptance letter last week. (:

I sent in my app the night before the Early Action deadline and then realized that since I was VIP (I assume because of my academic record or something) I could’ve sent in at any time :(

But yeah, I got my acceptance letter about two weeks ago, and my Honors college acceptance a week ago.
