I'm wicked eager and anxious.
I got my acceptance letter in the mail a couple weeks ago and supposedly an honors college letter should come shortly after or "could be as late as mid march"
have any VIP apps gotten anything from the honors yet?

One of my son’s classmates (I’m not sure she was a VIP candidate, like my son is – I’m an alum of the graduate college) not only was admitted, but a day or two later was notified that she made it into the Honor’s College. I will admit I’m a little envious…

I applied as a VIP candidate on 11/1 and was accepted on 11/21. Last year the Honors College notifications started coming out (the first big wave of invitations) on December 9th. I have not heard yet, and I think they might just be coming later this year, possibly because there was a record number of early applicants.

Does anyone know if you must be a VIP candidate to potentially receive honors college? I was just offered the presidental scholarship but being in honors college would put UVM at the top of my list.

No, the VIP app thing was just a waived application fee and rolling admissions decisions. They definitely aren’t related. I also got the presidential scholarship and I also would put UVM at the top of my list if I were in the honors college. so yeah. I am dying to hear.

Me too ebart115. I won’t seriosuly consider UVM unless I get accepted to the Honors College.

what are your stats? I got into the honors program at CU Boulder and would assume the applicant pool is pretty similar at UVM.
I’m 36th out of like 200, GPA 3.8 weighted. 2010 on SATs. Bio major.

I’m mostly worried about my GPA. 3.56 unweighted and a 2120 on SATs. My school doesn’t do class ranking.
