Hello! I’m a current Junior in HS and I have taken the November SAT with a score of 1520. I plan to major in Biochemistry in the Virginia Tech Honors College. I was wondering if this SAT score is sufficient enough for the Honors college scholarship and if it is necessary to take SAT subject tests as well. Those who have been accepted to the Honors College, what SAT score (or ACT equivalent) did you guys submit on your application? Did you guys also take subject tests?
My son was accepted to the Honors college with 1480 SAT and did not take the Subject test. As far as I know Virginia Tech does not look at subject tests.
