Virginia Tech (Political Science) or UNC-Charlotte (Political Science)

Hi everyone, I need help in choosing which school I will attend this fall. I was accepted to both Virginia Tech and UNC Charlotte’s Political Science Program, but I haven’t 100% decided on whether or not I want to pursue that major. I live in North Carolina, so I will receive in-state tuition for Charlotte, but money is not so much of an issue as I received a partial scholarship from VT. My main concerns between the two schools are the validity of the Social Science programs, the locations, quality of dorms, and overall school quality. UNC Charlotte is obviously not as well-recognized as Virginia Tech, but I love Charlotte’s location, campus, and dorms. Virginia Tech has a better name, and has a much larger and more traditional college campus, but is located in the small mountain town of Blacksburg, and I don’t really like the dorms as much as Charlotte.

Thanks for your help!

if you like the dorms, go to UNC-Charlotte, given it will save money as well. UNC-Charlotte is a well known university.
