<p>lets say i have a list of 8-9 colleges, how many are NECESSARY to visit, or recommended?
all in the northeast mostly</p>
<p>If you can visit them, go for it! Thankfully, my parents have been able to take me on numerous college visits which I have found helpful, since there were schools I loved on paper that I hated in person and vice-versa. I haven’t visited all the schools on my list, though.
If not, don’t worry about it. I would definitely encourage you to go visit before you make your final decision, though. I know people who didn’t go visit any schools until they were accepted and they are perfectly happy where they ended up. Also, even if you can’t visit before you apply, find out as much as you can about the schools you do want to apply to to make sure you really would want to go there!</p>
