<p>A few things to do:</p>
<p>Ride the incline up Mt. Washington to get a beautiful view of Pittsburgh. It was rated the second most beautiful view in the country by USA Today and Reader's Digest.

<p>Check out the South Side Works, on Carson Street. That's Pittsburgh's "trendy" area, with tons of stores and restaurants.</p>
<p>Walk around Shadyside, the neighborhood that borders Pitt. It is an upscale area with some beautiful old mansions and some nice shops on Walnut Street.</p>
<p>Go to the National Aviary and the Senator John Heinz Pittsburgh Regional History Center, right across the river from each other.</p>
<p>Check out the Strip District, which is a combination farmer's market/street fair.</p>
<p>The Andy Warhol museum is great for those who like art. It's the largest museum in the world dedicated to a single artists.</p>
<p>The Carnegie Museums of Art & Natural History are world renowned.</p>
<p>The Mattress Factory is actually a huge art museum.</p>
<p>Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens are beautiful. They are right next to Pitt's campus.</p>
<p>Have Lunch at Primanti Brother's, a Pittsburgh staple.</p>
<p>Go to Point State Park, right where the three rivers meet.</p>
<p>The Carnegie Science Center & UPMC Sportsworks is always fun.</p>
<p>And of course, you have to see the Cathedral of Learning.</p>
