<p>To get right to the point- Is visiting Washington University in St. Louis absolutely necessary for admission? I'm pretty sure the school tracks demonstrated interest, but will not visiting the school severely damage my chances of getting in? I've gone to all of the local visits and information sessions, but haven't found the time in my senior year schedule to make the 9 or 10 hour drive from my hometown to St. Louis

I'm a pretty above average student- top 7% in the class, and my grades are mostly A's with some B's. I've got two Varsity sports and several extra-curriculars.</p>
