Viterbi and Dornsife

I want to apply as a computer science major and was wondering if I have a better chance of getting into Viterbi or Dornsife? Without saying my stats i was wondering if Dornsife is generally less competitive or not?

there is no advantage of applying to Dornsife over Vertibi if you intend to apply as a CS major.
The admissions requirements are the same -

"The undergraduate program in computer science is an interdisciplinary program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. The program is designed to provide both an academic and professional orientation.

General admission requirements for the undergraduate program are the same as those of the university and the USC Viterbi School of Engineering and include 3 to 5 units of mathematics and one unit of science (biology, chemistry or physics) together with satisfactory scores on the Scholastic Aptitude Test and Achievement Tests. There is a dual CS/Physics degree (BA I believe) in Dornsife. It does not include all of the upper level CS courses that the Viterbi CS BS degree does. Is this what you are referring to? Fwiw my son entered as Undeclared in Dornsife and transferred to the Viterbi CS program after scoring well in three entry level CS courses. It was nerve wracking for sure and not something I would recommend for everyone. FYI He is going to Microsoft next week for a series of in-person interviews. What a crazy ride these past four years have been!
