VPA requirement

I am OOS.
my school’s fine art requirement was met by one art class similar to the UC system’s VPA requirements. I took one year-long course in the ninth grade.

I know UCs only look at 10/11 grade for calculating gpa. Does this mean that the VPA course I took in the 9th grade doesn’t count as far as eligibility? i am very confused.

I tried to contact admissions but due to budget cuts it is literally impossible to speak to/email a rep directly, and the website does not answer my question. Help?!

As long as you take it during high school, you are fine. No worries. :-)

Oh thank you so much! I hadn’t even thought about it until now and I was so worried!

it’s just a minimum requirement to be eligible to matriculate, like four years of English or three of math. Obviously, few applicants have completed the fourth year of high school English prior to applying.
