I am OOS. I’ve read the requirement, and it said a “year-long” art course. Now, I took two semesters of art in the same year, but I do not believe that the classes were connected. Does this hurt my chances, or does that fulfill the requirement?

Since you're OOS, if I were you, I'd contact the UC system directly and ask.

We're IS. I know from speaking to my S's GC that UC has some flexibility. For example, some students opt to meet the VPA by taking a summer community college course. However, buyer beware, only some of the CC classes qualify.

nope, two independent HS semesters generally will not fulfill the requirement. But, you can also become eligible by testing alone. You would need to average 710 on all tests.

As long as you complete first semester of drawing (intro0 then a second semester of drawing (advanced) the courses should meet the requirement.
