VT or Penn for Aerospace Eng.?

So i got into both schools and was wondering which one is better, academically and socially. They are both high ranking schools in their fields respectively so it makes life a little tougher. I also plan on double majoring in aerospace and mechanical engineering and potentially minoring in some computer sciences (really iffy about that). So which is the better pick? Their costs pretty much come out to be the same give or take $5,000.

I want the school which i go to to have a nice neighborhood with nice dorms and intellectual people all around me. Not to mention good food. Any in-put will be helpful!

So far Virginia tech is looking better because of its 5 year Bachelor's/Master's Degree (<a href="http://www.esm.vt.edu/fiveYearPlan.php%5B/url%5D">http://www.esm.vt.edu/fiveYearPlan.php</a></p>
