@tingdad, my daughter wrote the thank you note on Wednesday to the woman who coordinated the weekend. On Wednesday morning, she received a very nice email from the faculty member who interviewed her in her panel interview. She was a semi-finalist for Richmond Scholar, but didn’t make it to the final round. She was admitted to UVA Echols Scholars Program (no merit money there!). W&L has been her top choice since 8th grade. . .I hope it happens for her!

Also,does Robert Lee scholarship still exist?
@tingdad, LOL, at this point I don’t want to read too much into anything! I don’t recall exact wording–it was nice and referred to the topics of the interview. We are taking the position that it was a great free weekend!

Has anyone noticed that the financial aid page has closed down. There was a blue banner this morning, and I went back to check around and the page is closed!

So happy to say my daughter got the Johnson. She has worked toward this for four years, so we are extremely grateful. Thank you Mr. Johnson for endowing this amazing scholarship and creating such a fabulous opportunity.
