<p>But yeah I was surprised no one from our school got in early this time, usually 1 or 2 do (though msot of these are children of professors).</p>

<p>I guess this is good (my deferral I mean) b/c it just makes me want to put more into the other 9 apps I have yet to do.</p>

<p>On the bright side, if the 5-6% acceptance rate is for deferees too, then around 140 of us 2690+ deferees will see the bulldog in April!</p>

<p>One of my friends is half-Asian, half-Native American/South American mix, but really considers herself Asian since she lives in Beijing while not at school. I always tell her how much easier it is for her to get into college than for the rest of us.</p>
