sadface
ps. I hate how almost all the applicants from Canada are asian too
(shocker at info sesh)

Hahhaha sanguinity, you’re not an Asian female.

But yeah I was surprised no one from our school got in early this time, usually 1 or 2 do (though msot of these are children of professors).

I guess this is good (my deferral I mean) b/c it just makes me want to put more into the other 9 apps I have yet to do.

I’m right here with youll

feeling a little blehhh right now so cant go through all the groups
can someone tell me what getting deferred REALLY means

Asian female deferrals, yup.

So Yale…why so many deferrals? (Not complaining since it’s not a rejection, but why not just get it over with?)

I’m not a deferred Asian female, but I am a deferred Asian male!

On the bright side, if the 5-6% acceptance rate is for deferees too, then around 140 of us 2690+ deferees will see the bulldog in April!

i swear to god, yale just put together all qualified applicants and drew a lottery

i call shenanigans

140 out of 2690 is astronomically low. :(

woo for deferred south-asian canadian males

Amen, pigs.

Times like these, I wish I could change my name to Ann Gonzalez-Runninghorse. haha

^HAHAHA more like shaniqua gomez- leaping deer

One of my friends is half-Asian, half-Native American/South American mix, but really considers herself Asian since she lives in Beijing while not at school. I always tell her how much easier it is for her to get into college than for the rest of us.
