thanks la montagne

oh and i forgot to say that i want to be a premed major

Though Caltech doesn’t have a pre-med program, I have heard that studying engineering there is excellent preparation for med school.

yeah, i really like caltech and how it is small and personal, but i don’t know how many pre-med people they have there…

Let me do some checking, I know I’ve read about their med school preparation.

thank you thank you

What is this ranking supposed to be based on? I can’t really give you a good ranking without knowing a few things about you first such as:

1) Would you prefer to be in on the West Coast? California weather vs. Northeast weather is obviously very different.
2) Do you prefer a large school or a small school?
3) I noticed there’s only one all-girls school on your list. Are you truly interested in single-sex education? Coed vs. single-sex pretty different experience.
4) What does regents mean? (Not from California, so excuse my ignorance)
5) Is money a factor for you? A nice financial aid package from some of these schools might sway you their way.

Consider these questions yourself and then rank the schools based on your answers.

I hear UCB has bad pre-med advising so put them at the bottom of the list.

hmmm..ok so to answer the questions:

i think academics is one of the biggest factors and if you guys know any hooks for any of the schools, i would really appreciate it…thanks! sorry about the ambiguity, KittyLow!

i heard that if u want to be a premed in Caltech, u can take classes at UC davis

oh really? but why would you take classes at uc davis? and how would that work?
