Waht are my chances of a Big 4 internship?

I'm an accounting student entering my junior year. I REALLY want a big 4 internship and I hear recruiting starts immidiately when the fall semester starts. My GPA is pretty low but I think my school is heavily recruited.

Are most big 4 interns juniors or are some seniors?

Is there any possible way to get a big 4 internship with a sub 3point GPA?
Does being a minority help? I've had accounting internships: one with a small real estate company and the other was a science internship with a prestigious university(case western reserve). Will any of this help my cause?

If I can't make big 4, can I still get a well paying accounting intern?

Thank you

Under 3.0 makes your case nearly impossible, even at heavily recruited schools (they’ll ask why they should take you over your 3.9-GPA counterparts). Get that GPA up, tell them you’ve been working hard on improving or something - recruiters love stories. And you have a good background, just a bad academic record.

Being a minority definitely doesn’t hurt. Go to minority recruiting events if they’re available and network like crazy.

The answer is no (or almost no). No Big 4 firm is going to give you an internship with your sub-par 3.0 GPA. You can still try nonetheless, but don’t count on it…just being honest. Don’t get your hopes up.
