<p>so on UCSD site for freshman applicants it gives you the maximuim points possible for thigns such as volunteer, leadership, and all.
i came across 1st generation.. waht is that exactly..</p>

<p>technically i am the first generation to go to UCSD (lol).. my dad went to a university in sunderland (england) and my mom went to college, but never completed it exactly..
my older sister went to community college and now is at CSUSM.. so hehe can i still be counted as first gen?</p>
