<p>Please note that final decisions will be mailed on a rolling basis over the next few weeks to all students who accepted a place on our waiting list. All decisions will be mailed as soon as they are finalized.</p>

<p>They said that UNC expects to take 100 people from the wait list. SO does any body know how many people are on the wait list.</p>
<p>Did anybody not yet off the waitlist get a "Just for you" message on their homepage that was a Survey for Accepted Students?</p>
<p>i did..do you think they include waitlisted in accepted? that wouldn't really make sense..so here's hoping we receive envelopes tomorrow!</p>
<p>Put a call into admin late today and left a message but didn't hear back . Can't imagine they would send something that says "accepted" just before a denial comes out. Last update on app. was today as well.</p>
<p>got a phone call from UNC today...i'm in!!!!! i've never been this confused in my life (Miami or UNC??) but I'm estatic.</p>
<p>I'm so happy for you, congrats! My D got the same good news this morning. Since you received the same "Special Update", I thought you were in too, but afraid I might be wrong and give you false hope. I was told this morning they were starting to make calls. Glad you got one of them! Just curious, IS or OOS?</p>

<p>My D is IS, didn't want to leave NC. UNC is the only place she wanted to go, she is so happy and relieved. I'm happy for you all!</p>
<p>I got a phone call today telling me that I got into UNC off of the waiting list. I am still waiting to hear from another college about the waiting list, but right now my choices are betewen Rutgers Pharmacy (I'm from NJ) and UNC. I put pharmacy down as my major for UNC, but can I change it to business before entering school? The more I think about it, the more I want to pursue a career in business, not pharmacy.</p>

<p>For those of you who got in congrats! Any of you who wouldn't mind I'd love if you would be willing to post your stats or some of your ec's. I'm not a student but I am a future hopeful student. I hope to transfer there next fall as a junior. I'd love to see I actually have what it takes againts those who do have what it takes like yourselves seeing how you got in. Congrats again to you all.</p>

<p>In-state. Was deferred, waitlisted, then finally rejected! lol i don't really care. i thought UNC was always the best choice for me but now i think differently. i'd rather go to a school where i know i will get awesome grades. but congrats to all the other people!!</p>
