WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT....If I gave my teacher/counselor paper forms....

I have to do paper forms too?

For example, the school I'm applying EA to wants 1 tech rec, 1 con rec, and a midyear report...all from the common app.

So I printed out the common app and gave my those 3 things along with enveloops..so badsically they will be mailing them.

Now I was planning to use the common app and sumbitted my application online....but am i allowed to or do i have to use paper forms too?

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Also, if the deadline is Nov.1 does that mean the deadline is tonight, or tomorrow night?

THANKS>

NO. You do not need to send in your application on paper. I have done the same thing as you and none of my schools are confused. When schools tell you not to combine online and paper forms they mean like…don’t send in your application online and the supplement on paper (this is actually because for a lot of schools, the application won’t send until the supplement is sent). However, teacher recs are always received separately anyway, so it doesn’t make a difference.

Same here.

All sons app/supplements, etc were done on line. We did send in his resume by mail. (can’t remember if we sent anything else with it.) Counselor and teacher recs, mid year report, etc were sent in by the high school.

Not to worry. The schools likely print your items and start a file on you and add anything sent in by mail. Son was accepted at all schools he applied to so I guess if he did any of this wrong the schools didn’t mind!!

Good luck to you in this process.

To answer the other question: deadline is tomorrow night. :)
