sorry for the weird title, but that's the frame of mind i'm in right now. it seems like a lot of schools are asking why I want to go to college.... (face-smack, duh Matt!) sorry. this is how i type, i apologize ahead of time for the informalities. anyways, yeah. why do i want to go to college? my gut instinct and real reason: to make money. why do i want to be a business major? to become an entrepreneur, then business ceo, then venture capitalist. that's what I want. Grades are there. Scores are there. I'm pretty set. last thing in the way: essays. i'm not too bad of a writer, but I don't want to be just another boring essay that says "i want to go to college because x, y, z..." I want to stand out and "hit them in their critical area" as my friend would say, which my other friend would then follow with a very vulgar metaphor of dominating the other during sexual intercourse (super censored), but it's true... I want my essay to be bang on amazing, but I can't seem to find a way to get that undiscovered edge. Can someone help me out?

I'm also having similar trouble with the Claremont McKenna question. I can think of plenty of heroes that I could write decent essays about being their advisors, but nothing extraordinary. I rarely settle for less (haha i can't believe that i just added "rarely"), and i know college readers don't either.

PLEASE FLOOD ME WITH IDEAS (RANDOM OR NOT) <-- sorry about the caps lock, but i figure if this is all they're going to read, might as well be the stuff in caps.

all replies much much much appreciated.
