Waiting for schools to receive the FAFSA so I can edit to send it to more colleges

I have 10+ schools I plan on sending the FAFSA to. After I’ve received a confirmation from FAFSA can I go ahead and edit and resubmit to my remaining schools, or do I have to wait until all the colleges indicate they’ve received the form?

In addition, some schools don’t appear to have places to check document status online. Would I have to call the schools or would I maybe get a confirmation email from them?

I think you will get an email when your SAR Student Aid report is ready.
