<p>Does need for financial aid affect your chances of admission off of the waitlist? My family will not receive any money from the FAFSA anyways so should I email BU and inform them that I do not need financial aid?</p>

<p>it probably wont help all that much because most people on the waitlist dont get a whole lot of money to begin with. i would recommend sending a letter of interest though. could really make a difference.</p>
<p>@rik i put down that i did in the common app but now that i know we wont get anything anyways i was asking if i should let them know that i now am not in need of it as i wont get it. </p>
