<p>Wash U is my first choice too and I was waitlisted as well. From what I understand, if they offer you admission, you can turn it down, but if you say yes, you are obligated to attend. They will call you if you get a position in the class, and I am pretty sure you have to have your decision made at that time.</p>

<p>(I also got waitlisted.) In the letter, they said that if any money was left they would offer it, but that's if any money is left.</p>
