Waitlist Supplement

So I was recently waitlisted at one of my reach schools (which is honestly a better result than I anticipated) I already accepted my spot on the waitlist and now have the chance to submit a “waitlist supplement”. Im assuming this is a chance to write and express my continued interest along with one last good word on why I’d be a strong match for the institution, am I right in that thinking? Also on a similar note, if anyone is willing to review my writing once completed I would very much appreciate any input i can get
