Waitlist?

<p>I got into University of Washington but got waitlisted at Harvey Mudd. Since I have to accept UW's offer by May 1st, can I do that and then later decline if I find out I got in from the waitlist at Harvey Mudd?</p>

<p>Something tells me some nasty fees are going to be involved.</p>

<p>Yes you can. That’s how the waitlist works. But you will lose your deposit at UW.</p>
