Waitlisted/accepted between now and April 15

Please post here if the title applies to you.

Judging by my other colleges' recent decisions during these past few weeks, it's either I was waitlisted or rejected (I've been accepted to 2 out 7, waitlisted on one, and still pending on 2 more decisions). I certainly hope that trend isn't followed by U of W; that is, the ratio of acceptances to rejections will hopefully be higher.

My friend just got rejected like 2 days ago.

I just got waitlisted about four days ago. Booooooooo.

Still waiting =/

I'm with you, gorep. But I'm living overseas (Vienna), so it should be another week for me, possibly. Are you an international as well?

Nope. I'm just out of state :(

Their admissions process is kind of ridiculous...

In what sense? (Sorry about all the questions.)

Like, I'm from California, lol.
And I just got rejected. This ****ing blows.

Goreprincess, sorry about that. But don't worry, you'll be happy wherever you end up.

Can I ask a question please? Did you get your transcript to load and what was your status?

No. My status said (last time I checked) We reviewed your application. We will notify you by postal mail.

I guess I'm either appealing, or going to school in California and then transferring.

So, again, if your unofficial transcript does not load, you can consider yourself rejected? Disappointing. Eh, I'm pretty much decided anyways; just wanted an option (not that UofW is worth less--it's a great school for the Health Sciences).

Anyone else wanted U of W as an option instead of your "dream", "reach", or "top choice" school?

I just got the acceptance letter today. =]

Good luck to everyone who hasn't heard back yet.

Warning: I'm about to go on a rant.

I'm angry at UW. My status has been "We have received all materials required to review your application. Your application will remain in this status until decisions are finalized. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made." since November 27th. November 27th!!! I turned in some applications in the beginning of January, and they all got back by the last week of March! I even applied to one at the end of February and got accepted today!!

I'm so annoyed that even if I get in I won't go. Sounds irrational, but gah!!

Congratulations kwonye w. That's good news for us as well, partially.

@shades: You don't need to fret. Like you said, you've been accepted to a college, and since your unhappy with UofW as of now, you might as well accept your current offer.

Well, I was waitlisted. I'd just like to confirm that they can only notify you of admission "after June 1, but no later than August 1." I'm planning on accepting my current...acceptance (lol)...and I advise those of you not hell-bent on going to UofW to follow suit.

nope i havent heard from UW yet...
niether has my friend! we are all internation. so i think we are suppose to wait another week ~"~
i think they are still working on it. but i believe that if you are US citizen or resident you should have got your decisions already!

Expect it to come via email, heyycnan. In fact, you should have gotten a standard email titled "An Update on your University of Washington Application" already. Apparently, it's sent to internationals only (I may be completely wrong about that).

Anyone accept their wait-list status? I have, hopefully I can defy the stats.
