Last year when I applied to NYU for Tisch, I was waitlisted. Because of this, theoretically, are my chances of acceptance higher if I try to transfer for next Fall?
You will be applying as a transfer which means your current college record is part of the review. Previously NYU only had your HS record to consider. Also there are far fewer slots for transfers than for first year applicants. Net net you should probably assume it’s a new process that has little to do with the previous effort. (Though the fact you applied before indicated interest which is always a good thing. ) Good luck!
