@Gumbymom I applied for chemistry and biochemistry, does this make a difference?
I do not think that Chemistry/Biochem would be as competitive as CS/Engineering but there is no information on how these schools rank the applicants: by major or by GPA/Test scores etc… so it would hard to give chances on getting off the waitlist.
