Waitlisted - Sit tight or..?

Renbruno, I would say you should go to Yale and forget about Harvard, Yale is a much better school, plus the fact that they wanted you right away and didn’t waitlist you shows they have more confidence in you then Harvard does. Congrads on getting into Yale by the way.

renbruno go to Yale, but it is not better than Harvard they are Equal

Mesquite_girl- I think extra letters of recommendation don’t really matter at this stage.

To collegebound2525 and 1991: The thing with this option is that Harvard has a really cool major something like which Yale does not have. I am an international student and Harvard has only accepted 1 person( to the best of my knowledge) from my country. I think I will probably have a better undergraduate experience at Yale but this major is really what I have been looking forward to for the past 3 years.

And Mesquite, why do you say that telling the people at Harvard about my acceptance at Yale will ‘tick’ them off?
I think that if I do it in an subtle manner they actually stand to gain with respect to the cross-admit lists.

guys can we move all discussions in the thread i have made official thread?in this way our discussion wont be scattered and it will be easier for everyone!!!

I will send in an additional recommendation and an update essay. And hope for the best :)
