This number seems unbelieveably high. Perhaps they offered admission to all on the Wait List but only a small percent of those actually matriculated.

Cornell's Wait list stats are posted in post#91 on page#5 of this thread.
Cornell doesn't break out the wait-list by college.
You might call ILR admissions and let them know of your interest and ask if they can give you any idea of your chances.</p>
