I was pretty happy about being waitlisted at Harvard...it's not a no!
I was kind of hopful but realistic throughout the process and found out I was rejected today...but life goes on.

I am going to Wellesley next year and I'm happy but the fact that I was waitlisted makes me think maybe I have viable chance as a transfer applicant? haha maybe this is wishful thinking but...what are the other rejected waitlisters doing/ going to next year??

I’m afraid that is wishful thinking. Gaining admission to Harvard as a transfer is way harder than gaining freshman admission.

On the other hand, congratulations! Wellesley is a fantastic college. I hope you have a wonderful, life-changing experience there.

thank you, that was a really nice way of putting it and yes I think I’m going to be very happy for the next four years at Wellesley!!

Put Harvard in the rear view mirror and as Sikorsky writes have a wonderful time at Wellesley.

I am familiar with that portion of the Mass Pike.

For this just-passed academic year, Harvard accepted less than 1% of transfer applicants.

Enjoy Wellesley, be proud you even made it to the Harvard waitlist, and have an awesome freshman year.

Another women’s college! I was also just rejected from the waitlist and I’m headed to Barnard next year. I hope I can navigate the whole ivy-league affiliate relationship well.
