I applied for the Pharmacy program and was waitlisted... If I get accepted by June 1, will there still be financial aid available? Has this happened to anyone where you still received aid afterwards?

So I will be committing to Brown University in the meantime since there is no guarantee I will get into Northeastern...

They have come out and said that applicants taken off the waitlist won’t receive great aid because of the depleted resources (read an article about record $$ given this yr in aid).

On a side note, you were accepted to Brown and not NEU? What makes you want to go to Northeastern over an Ivy?

it’s not all about prestige. This is what many CC’ers fail to realize- the real accomplishment is not whether you get into an Ivy or “top tier” school, but if you pick schools and decide on a school that’s a good fit for you, and you, the school.

Thank you for the replies. That’s unfortunate… And I am still undecided whether I want to go down the pharmacy path or pre-med path, but I am leaning towards pharmacy. I want to go to Northeastern because of the pharmacy program and co-op, but Brown offers me a liberal medical education.
