<p>Well now that we are in, what are the chances of getting into a dorm of your choice? I heard since we past the Priority 2 deadline, we can’t choose mutually requested roommates?</p>
<p>In my case, the priority deadline for the housing was extended to May 15. You’d better apply for the dorm first without waiting for the welcome packet. Actually it is possible to do that before you confirm enrollement. Is it already May 15 there, too? Here it is 15.</p>

<p>haha seaboy i was also really excited to do everything in my packet today; we’re definitely putting it in the mail tomorrow haha i read literally every word in that welcome booklet and in the letter and everything, it just feels good haha</p>

<p>hey y’all, so i confirmed and everything but I can’t for some reason schedule an advising and orientation date… like it says i’m restricted or something even though i paid the 272$ fee. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know what to make out of this??</p>
<p>They need 1-2 days to process the deposit. And then you can register for the orientation.</p>
<p>seaboy- i’m still waiting for my depost to be registered too; i mailed mine friday morning and in the welcome packet it says give about 3 days for it to be registered…so if i cant register for an orientation session by probably tuesday night then i might call to make sure they got it haha</p>

<p>My firend who is going to be a sophmore at UW says u can get credit if u join a FIG</p>
<p>yeah you get credit but most people i know say its a waste. the general class or whatever is only 2 credits, and you can get 5 credits in normal classes. the people i know said they just thought the general class was stupid because it was a bunch of random essays and tours at random times of the days during the week that weren’t helpful. maybe if you do a specific one it could be good but i have just heard from these few people that you really dont need the fig</p>
<p>hey mcf11- i turned in the enrollment stuff friday and they confirmed it that very same day…Then the whole weekend I couldn’t register until this morning when I tried again and it did work…So it’ll work probably in like the next day or two…don’t worry i’m doing a general session so that’s why it filled up very fast but if you’re trying to do special session they’ve got some spots still in early july… I will look into the fig to see if its legit or not…</p>

<p>does the UW send u an email notifaction that they have received ur confirmaton letter? cuz i turned mine in last saturday and idk if they got my confirmation letter or not… ne one know why its taking so long?</p>
<p>esp-you have to give it the time to get there then the time to process it; i mailed mine friday morning and it got confirmed late last night and i could sign up for a&o this afternoon. they don’t send an e-mail, you have to check your myuw account and go to the application status to see if they received it or not</p>
